The public PrediabetesBasket marketing website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how long visits last. The site does not currently use:

• Meta/Facebook Pixel;
• advertising tracking cookies; or
• behavioural analytics cookies.

If this changes, this Policy and the site's consent mechanism will be updated before non-essential technologies requiring consent are used.

PrediabetesBasket may use technologies that are strictly necessary to provide, secure or operate services requested by users.

These may include technologies required for:

• website security;
• authentication;
• fraud prevention;
• maintaining an essential session;
• remembering a necessary user choice; or
• delivering requested website functionality.

Where a technology is strictly necessary to provide a service requested by you, consent may not be required.

We will still provide clear information about any such technologies that are actually used.

Our current website audit identified the following:

Google Fonts

The website requests font files and stylesheets from Google Fonts.

Google Fonts does not currently set cookies or use browser storage on the PrediabetesBasket marketing website.

Website interface technology

The website code includes interface components that are capable of using a first-party setting called “sidebar_state”.

At present, this functionality is not used by a public PrediabetesBasket page and should not be treated as an actively deployed cookie unless it is actually set in the user's browser.

If this changes, this Policy will be updated.

PrediabetesBasket uses Google Analytics 4 on the public marketing website prediabetesbasket.com to understand website traffic and how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how long visits last.

Google Analytics is loaded with analytics storage denied by default under Google's Consent Mode. This means no analytics cookies are set and no analytics information is stored on your device until you accept analytics cookies through our cookie banner.

We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing or advertising-personalisation purposes, and those features are disabled. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses for UK users; IP data may be used briefly to derive coarse location information and is then discarded.

PrediabetesBasket does not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking technologies on the public marketing website.

If these technologies are introduced in future, they will not be activated before any legally required consent has been obtained.

PrediabetesBasket will not use health information or basket-analysis information supplied by customers to create third-party advertising profiles.

When you first visit the website, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. Declining is made as easy as accepting.

If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics may set analytics cookies until you change or withdraw your choice.

Your choice is remembered using a small first-party entry in your browser's local storage. This is used only to remember your cookie choice and is not shared with anyone.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. This reopens the cookie banner so you can accept or decline. If you switch from accept to decline, Google Analytics stops running for you and any analytics cookies already set are removed. You can also clear your browser's site data for this website, or control cookies through your browser settings, as described below.

Where consent is required:

• non-essential technologies will be off by default;
• consent will require a positive action;
• continuing to browse will not count as consent; and
• refusing consent will be made as easy as accepting it.
